# DeCloudX Blockchain Layer (Layer 1)

**Architecture**\
DeCloudX Blockchain is a high-throughput, low-latency Layer 1 chain built on a customized Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. It is designed for:

* High composability with other decentralized systems
* Modular integration with DeCloudX's compute and storage orchestration
* Block finality under 2 seconds and throughput targets of >10,000 TPS
* Horizontal scalability through future sharding support

**Virtual Machine**\
The chain is fully EVM-compatible, supporting smart contracts written in Solidity and Vyper. Developers can deploy contracts using familiar tools like Hardhat and Truffle. The roadmap includes:

* Native support for WebAssembly (WASM) for broader language support (e.g., Rust)
* Integration with off-chain compute triggers and cross-module data calls from the DeCloudX Orchestrator

**Interoperability**\
DeCloudX Blockchain will feature native bridges to:

* Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Tron for token and data transfer
* Allow cross-chain liquidity movement via wrapped assets
* Enable multi-chain dApp deployments using one unified back-end (DCX-powered compute + smart contracts)

**Governance-Free Protocol Layer**\
To retain agility and consistency, the DeCloudX core blockchain operates under a governance-free model:

* No dependency on token-holder voting for protocol-level upgrades
* Security and upgrade path maintained by a core engineering council
* Governance may be modularized per dApp at the application level, not the chain itself

**On-chain Developer Revenue Sharing**

A standout innovation: 5% of all transaction fees generated by a smart contract are automatically routed to the developer's wallet — baked into the protocol itself. This creates:

* Financial incentive for open-source innovation
* A sustainable ecosystem where builders are rewarded natively without ad-hoc grants

**Decentralized Identity and DNS Integration**\
Every wallet and dApp can register human-readable identifiers using DeCloudX Name Service (DNS):

* Acts as both a web URL and smart contract alias
* Fully integrated into DeCloudX’s network stack (routing, compute orchestration, storage labeling)
